About Me

Born in Zimbabwe (then Rhodesia) in July 1959, I have 3 siblings and have worked for the Corporate Industry since 2011. I was retrenched in July 2020.

The 3 years I organized the annual Johannesburg Pride Parade, I did what I believed to be right for the LGBTQ+ community by rescuing it from a group of people who were not doing anything. To keep things going and make some money, I went commercial with this event which led me being shunned by many in the community.

I am still paying off my overdraft due to this event, but it has been worth every penny!

I was once following a path that had been set out for me. I never thought to question the way things were and assumed that this would be enough. However, when 2020 rolled around, it became clear: time to make my own way. My new journey has taken many twists and turns since then; while I continue with my passion of helping others better themselves in their lives, now it is not just from afar anymore.

I completed my Transformation Life Coaching certification as an Accredited Certified Transformation Life Coach!
